FInally, after weeks of relentless work Buy & sell indicator is out for beta testing, Thank you all who waited patiently for it. Before you just go & start using it please do read this post.
- Best time frame to use – 3mins
- wait on next 2 candles to close without opposite signal
- Use Support & Resistance to get better confirmation
- Smaller the timeframe more signals you will get, Higher the time frame lesser signals you will have.
How to add the indicator?
You won’t be able to find the indicator on Public Library on Tradingview, so send a message on telegram @tradingv & I will grant you the access.
Now once you have received the access just go to Tradingview.com, open any chart you want then click on Indicators & Strategies
click on Invite – only Scripts
Just click on TradingVicky Buy & Sell
Now indicator should be added to your chart, close the pop-up window & come back to the chart.
How to Use the indicator?
Most important is to wait for the candle to close no matter which time frame you are using.
Always wait for the candle to close before entering, I recommend waiting on two more candles after getting a signal, look at images below, see how price waited a couple of candles before Pump or Dump. Use it with Support & resistance indicator & you will never Get it wrong.
From the feedback, I have received so far the best timeframe to use is 3 Mins.
What does it mean by Indicator Repainting?
Indicator repainting is a term used to describe an indicator re-positioning its line at the point where the current price bar is forming.
Repainting can be a big problem while working out a trading strategy.
If you set up some indicators and look at the chart history it can be quite deceiving, what may appear in the historical chart to be a great indicator that seems to create good signals on your chart when the lines cross, can actually turn out to be nowhere near as good in live trading because the historical chart only shows that indicator in a frozen moment in time, at the end of each price bar formation.
Does TradingVicky Buy & Sell indicator repaints?
I have made sure of it before allowing you to use it as I have seen there are a lot of indicator on Tradingview that shows some amazing results, However, when you use the Replay Mode (Available to Pro Users) you can easily see that those indicators reposition themselves when compare to live charts & History charts.
So Why there is sometime a signal & it vanishes?
As our indicator works with live EMA lines it is constantly changing with time, just take a look at RSI it is also always updating with live prices so constantly changing, that is one of the main reason why I have asked you to get in the signal after Candle Close & Waiting on next 2 candles.
Thank you all for being Patient 🙂 Finally Fixed it, It was just one code that went wrong lol.
How to add Alerts?
You will see the small drop-down arrow besides indicator, click on it
click on Add Alert
Now, this is the most important part, Because of Glitch in trading view you won’t be able to see Buy & Sell options, So first please Scroll Down.
After Scrolling down click on Buy
You will see both options, Buy & Sell, add alert for what you like, First Buy & then repeat the process for Sell
Now one more important part is to choose ONCE PER BAR CLOSE, That will send an alert only when there is a signal with the bar close.
Back on the main screen, you need to choose from the alert condition, Click on Close Line.
Choose buy if adding Buy alert or Sell if adding sell alert
Choose how you want to be notified for the alert.
Hit create & you are done 🙂
To check your active alerts, on charts page look at right Side panel & select Alerts icon, in the tab you will see all your active alerts 😀
